Kaleiçi is
a delightful and little known surprise; the ancient heart of
Antalya, a place of old Ottoman houses, with their projecting
wooden balconies, painted façades and hidden courtyards set
along narrow, winding streets that occasionally provide glimpses
of the old harbour. Tekeli Konaklari is a fine example of an
Ottoman house restoration, with a swimming pool at its centre.
Great care has been taken to retain authentic details as well as
to create a stylish little hotel.
